An epidemic is sweeping all through America. This epidemic has affected just about every individual in America. Millions could be diagnosed with it yet they do not realize they have it. It is changing the everyday thoughts and actions of those with it. It damages all individuals who let it consume them. It is nearly impossible to cure. Medication is useless against it. There is not outright proven immunity to prevent one from receiving this nasty disease. It can cause symptoms such as stress, overwork, waste, desperation, emptiness, and recklessness to name a few. Character Analysis Film Review The Princess Bride

When I was little, my mother always read me stories before bed. I couldn’t sleep without hearing the happy ending that I always knew was coming. The Princess Bride, a movie about a grandfather who reads his sick grandson a book about a Farm boy named Wesley and his true love Buttercup. In this fairytale they must overcome great obstacles while fighting for their love. This movie brings me right back to my childhood cuddling up under my covers hanging on my mothers every word. Although it is at some points unrealistic and predictable, The Princess Bride is an interesting, humorous, and heartwarming movie due to its’ setting, comical characters, and deep true love story. The first thing that I noticed in this movie, making it very†¦show more content†¦Wesley was by far the wittiest character, always having a quick smart response to everything. Humperdinck’s cowardice is humorous in that it makes me pity him, although he is the character who has it all. The scene where Buttercup throws herself down the hill after pushing Wesley down shows how little she thinks logically. Vizzini’s repetitive use of the word inconceivable is hilarious because he rarely uses it correctly. The Impressive Clergyman ordained the royal wedding using this awful speech impediment making his words almost impossible to listen to. Although, in my opinion, no characters stand up to Miracle Max and his wife Valerie when it comes to humor. Specifically, when Max is calling his wife a witch, she replies with the words, â€Å"I’m not a witch I’m your wife.† A lot of the humor in this part comes from how they talk and act which I just find funny in general. I’m not the only one who thinks so in that film critic Roger Ebert stated in a review of the movie that â€Å"the funniest sequence in the film starts Billy Crystal and Carol Kane, both unrecognizable behind makeup, as an ancient wizard and crone who specialize in bringing the de ad back to life.† The fact that this movie is a parody of an average fairy tale with whacky characters keeps me laughing throughout the movie. What is this one thing? Well, it is secret sin. This Great American Writer of the Romantic era in literature had a firm grasp and understanding of human nature and what it means to be human. The darkness of Hawthorne’s writings come from his own observations of human nature and the treachery that we can commit either in front of others or in secret. A secret sin is nothing more than some sin you committed; but, you are the only one who knows. So it is something that isn’t known by the population. So from the beginning, we see the sin that was committed. We only know half of who the sin truly belongs. â€Å"I thee to speak out the name of thy fellow-sinner and fellow-sufferer! Be not silent from any mistaken pity and tenderness for him; for, believe me, Hester, though he were to step down from a high place, and stand there beside thee, on thy pedestal of shame, yet better were it so, than to hide a guilty heart through life.† (Hawthorne 53) This is the first time we get a glimpse of guilt and the possibility that Dimmsdale is the fellow-sinner. As a preacher who speaks against sin, this is extremely hard for him. He wants to tell the truth but Hester won’t let him. This sin begins to completely consume one character the Reverend Dimmsdale. The guilt he feels drives him mad and causes him to carve an â€Å"A† into his chest and wonders the streets while asleep trying to let his sin be known. He even sits upon the gallows trying to tell people. The secret sin within this work was the sin of adultery not for Hester but her lover Dimmesdale. Throughout his works he speaks of different sins such is the case in the Ministers Black Veil. For a family institution the similarities that these three sociological theories share is based on one common characteristic. That one similarity is that none of them would be effective without some sort of structure. All three of these theories view a family as a group of. Family individuals that are always interacting with each. Their roles are almost always dependent on the other members in their family. That each member has a role to play in order for the family to function effectively and keeps the family as a whole stable. Their roles are based on their actions and how those actions effect the other members of the group. Though all three of these perspectives have this one major characteristic in common they also have some differences. For instance the functionalist perspective sees an unconscious smoothness to how the family interacts with each other. It is like a well oiled machine that each piece is important and without that one piece the machine will not work properly or at all. Functionalist view these interactions as something that is positive and rarely have many conflicts to overcome. While the conflict perspective seems to view consent struggles with many aspects of the family. There is first the conflicts that fill the inside of the family. Those are the struggles a member has with other members of the family for roles within the family. The other is the conflicts the family has as a whole with other families. For example if the family would like to achieve more money than the family would work together to find a way to achieve this goal or if they are trying to achieve a certain political status the family would work together. The motivation is to increase the economic through the m onopoly behavior and have gained the social power and acceptance. The accounting professions have to maintain its position and manipulating the attempts at the public regulations. The existence of conceptual framework has increased the conceptual debate level in the standard of setting the process of lobbying. It provides guidance to deal with the problems that are not yet the subject of the accounting standard. The accountants and auditors should provide clear true and fair view of the financial report of the company (Jackling, 2010). The framework of the study is surrounding the issues which are established by showing the provision of the accounting framework as it is being established by showing the provision of the SAC 4 framework. This is simply explained the benefits and the decrement of the values of the liabilities as it is being provided in the form of the definition of the standards.
